This policy explains what the app does — and, more importantly, does not do — with your information. It is written to be read, not just filed.
1Social is developed by GoldenApexApps LLC, an independent software developer. This policy covers the same app under both of its store names: it is listed as 1Social on Google Play and as 1PrivateSocial on the Apple App Store. One codebase, one set of rules, two listings. 1Social does not require an account. It does not collect, store, or sell your personal data on any server we operate. Everything you write and every platform connection you make lives on your device, under your control. The only exception is a single optional feature (AI Assist), described below, which only activates if you turn it on yourself.
We do not require you to create an account, and we do not collect your name, email address, phone number, or any other identifying information to use 1Social. We do not use advertising SDKs, and we do not use third-party analytics or behavioral tracking of any kind. There is no backend server that stores your posts, drafts, or platform connections.
To function, 1Social stores the following locally on your device only:
This information never leaves your device unless you personally choose to copy and share a post to a social platform of your choice. 1Social does not connect to social platforms via API and does not store any platform login credentials.
1Social includes an optional caption-enhancement feature called AI Assist. This feature is off by default. If you choose to turn it on and use it:
We do not receive, store, or have access to the content you submit to AI Assist — it passes through to OpenAI's API and back to your device. Review OpenAI's privacy policy for details on how they handle API requests.
1Social is intended for users aged 18 and over. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. Because the app collects no personal information by design, this risk is minimal regardless of user age.
Since all app data is stored exclusively on your device, deleting the app removes all associated data immediately. There is no account to delete and no server-side copy to request removal of, because none exists.
Sensitive local data is protected using your device's built-in biometric authentication (Face ID, Touch ID, or passcode fallback) through Apple's and Google's standard operating system security frameworks. We do not implement our own credential storage or transmission system, which avoids an entire category of risk that comes with maintaining one.
If this policy changes, the "Effective" date at the top of this page will be updated, and material changes will be reflected in the app's store listing update notes.
